YMT2344ESR

YMT2344 ESR chromium tool steel with reinforced alloying elements molybdenum and vanadium. The chromium element makes alloy steel resistant to softening at higher temperatures is a primary hardened steel with high temperature tempering resistance, maintaining high hardness and strength in high temperature environments. It has good performance in thermal fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance and wear resistance, and is a material with high toughness, high ductility and high hardenability. It can be directly water- cooled during production and use.

Air cooling, oil quenching or 450-550OC salt bath.  App. HRC52-56
Soft annealing temperature Quenching temperature
760-810OC 1020-1060OC

Stress Relieving
Heat to 650OC, keep in furnace for one hour, then air cooling.
