YMT2367ESR

YMT2367ESR hot work tool steel has high temperature strength and good wear resistance in high temperature environment, and twice hardened steel has good tempering, high through hardening and toughness, can be used directly during production in cooling water

Main Applications

It is for the production of wear-resistant tools, warm extrusion compression dies, and light and heavy metal forging dies and other hot work tools and accessories. Specially for the higher requirements of working environment, we recommend the use of electroslag remelting steel YMT2367ESR.

Delivery Conditions
Delivered in pre-hardened condition, max hardness 235HB, or according to customer's requirement.

Heat-Treatment
Air cooling, oil quenching or 450-550OC salt bath.  App. HRC50-56
Soft annealing temperature Quenching temperature
800-840OC 1030-1080OC. Air cool, oil cool or hot bath (500-550OC, Quenching hardness 53-57HRC.


Stress Relieving
Heat to 650OC, keep in furnace for one hour, then air cooling in order to alleviate stress during machining
Or reduce the deformation caused in the heat treatment.
